Battle Rage adalah permainan yang memungkinkan pemain untuk mengontrol robot raksasa. Pertempuran antara robot berlangsung pada battlegrounds hati-hati dipilih (disebut "arena") dan mereka yang pendek, cepat, pertempuran brutal. Pemain dapat melawan sendiri (versus satu, dua atau bahkan tiga lawan) atau dalam tim dengan satu sidekick.
