Summer, 2008: John McCain secures the nomination, but polls behind Barack Obama. Strategist Steve Schmidt suggests a game changer: picking a conservative female with media savvy, unknown Alaska governor Sarah Palin, as vice president. She’s an immediate hit and a quick study – the gap closes.

Then, Tina Fey’s impersonation, a raft of criticism, and missing her family send Palin into a near-catatonic state: she doesn’t prepare for her Katie Couric interview and bombs. Schmidt searches for an answer: don’t expect her to learn the issues, but give her a script. Palin does well in the debate with Biden; she finds her voice, goes off script, and goes rogue. A mistake?

Bumi mendapatkan serangan dari para Decepticons. Satu-satunya pihak yang bisa menghentikan mereka adalah Optimus Prime dan para Autobotsnya.

Mengambil seting tahun 1942 pada saat tentara Nazi melakukan serangan pembersihan disebuah desa yang bernama Stalingrad, wilayah Rusia. Seorang pahlawan setempat yang diperankan oleh Jude Law, Vassili Zaitsev adalah seorang penembak jitu terbaik yang telah menjadi legenda dan membangkitkan semangat juang para pejuang untuk mempertahankan kota Stalingrad sampai titik darah penghabisan.

Membahas secara visual pesan heroik sebuah peperangan dengan inti cerita pada hubungan cinta segitiga yang terjadi antara Vassili, seorang politisi Danilov (Joseph Fiennes) dan tentara sukarelawan wanita cantik (Rachel Weisz) dan cinta diantara mereka bertiga menjadi sebuah pertempuran yang terjadi didalam sebuah pertempuran sebenarnya, yang membuat film ini mempunyai nilai historik yang tinggi. Hingga pada pertempuran pribadi antara Vassili dengan penembak jitu terbaik Jerman Major Konig (Ed Harris) untuk menunjukkan kehormatan negara.

Tidak hanya mengekspos peperangan yang penuh kekejaman, darah dan anarki, tetapi melihat dari sisi lain dalam sebuah peperangan yang memberi gambaran bagus tentang cinta, pengkhianatan, persahabatan, perjuangan dan harga diri.Sebuah film dengan alur cerita yang menarik dan menyentuh.

Diproduksi oleh Paramount Pictures pada tahun 2002, film ini mempunyai visual efek dan sound efect yang bagus untuk mendapatkan suasana peperangan dan nuansa kekejaman yang didalamnya masih terdapat cerita yang mengedepankan cinta, kehormatan, pengorbanan dan kesetiakawanan.
