The story is basically a supernatural murder mystery that follows a girl who moves into the house of her dead mother, who she didn’t have the best relationship with. As she’s living in the home, extremely creepy and unexplained things begin to happen to her and to those around her.

This leads her to start investigating why she is going through this insanity, and she starts digging into her mother’s past. Thanks to the help of an abusive, attention-getting ghost, she begins to uncover certain clues to her forgotten past that ultimately reveal a terrible secret that’s been hidden from her for years.

The Hurt Locker adalah film perang Amerika Serikat tahun 2009. Film yang mengalahkan Film Avatar dalam piala Oscar ini disutradarai oleh Kathryn Bigelow dan dibintangi oleh Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, dan masih banyak lagi.

Film The Hurt Locker pertama kali dirilis di Italia tahun 2008, ketika film ini muncul pada Venice Film Festival. Setelah ditampilkan di Toronto International Film Festival, film ini dirilis di Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 26 Juni 2009. The Hurt Locker telah memenangkan enam penghargaan Academy Awards ke-82, termasuk penghargaan Sutradara Terbaik untuk Kathryn Bigelow dan Film Terbaik.

Film ini berkisah mengenai tim Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) yang dibentuk oleh tentara Amerika Serikat selama Perang Irak. J.T. Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) dan Owen Eldridge (Brian Geraghty) adalah dua orang tentara dari kesatuan tim gegana yang bertugas di Irak pada tahun 2004. Mereka berdua bertugas menyisir area yang akan dilewati tentara Amerika untuk mencari ranjau yang kemungkinan ditanam oleh tentara Irak.

Tugas tim ini bukanlah tugas yang mudah. Sanborn dan Eldrige tak boleh membuat kesalahan sekecil apa pun atau nyawa orang lain yang akan jadi korban. Itu terbukti ketika atasan mereka jadi korban dalam salah satu misi yang mereka lakukan. Namun kesadaran akan pentingnya ketelitian itu dengan segera menjadi sesuatu yang tak lagi diperlukan ketika tim ini mendapat pimpinan baru.

Tak seperti atasan sebelumnya, Sersan William James (Jeremy Renner) adalah seorang tentara yang ‘tak biasa’. James selalu melakukan tindakan yang menurut aturan standar militer adalah tindakan yang ceroboh dan tak bertanggung jawab. James tak suka menggunakan robot untuk melumpuhkan ranjau dan lebih suka terjun langsung ke medan ranjau dan melumpuhkannya dengan tangan kosong. Sebagai bawahan, Sanborn dan Eldridge tak bisa berbuat apa-apa selain mengikuti perintah atasan.

Five kung-fu masters from different regions are fighting ruthlessly for a mysterious treasure map inside the Ming Palace; while they are all tangled in wild combat, the precious map unexpectedly disappears.

A young couple lives in a small village with their adopted daughter. On the surface, they run a small bed and breakfast that serves tourists passing through, in truth, they are two of the kung-fu masters who had fought vigorously for the treasure map years ago. One day, their wealthy landlord obliviously reveals to the whole village that he possess a treasure map.

What was once deemed lost, resurfaces again, and a competitive search of the treasure thus begins, with a chain of adventurous events changing what was once a small ordinary town.

Tak ada yang berani melawan titah Ravenna (Charlize Theron), sang ratu yang kejam. Kematian menanti mereka yang berani menghalangi kehendak Ravenna yang memiliki kekuatan jahat. Sayangnya takdir berkata lain. Ada seorang gadis yang nantinya bakal menumbangkan kekuasaan Ravenna.

Kaca ajaib yang selama ini selalu menjadi penasehat Ravenna mengatakan bahwa ada seorang gadis yang bakal menjadi ancaman buat sang ratu. Gadis yang dimaksud adalah Snow White (Kristen Stewart), putri tiri Ravenna. Kalau Ravenna bisa membunuh Snow White dan memakan jantung Snow White, Ravenna bakal hidup abadi.

Jelas saja kabar ini membuat Ravenna murka. Yang lebih membuat Ravenna resah adalah saat Snow White berhasil melarikan diri. Eric (Chris Hemsworth) pun lantas ditugaskan untuk memburu Snow White dan membawanya pulang. Celakanya, Eric malah iba pada Snow White dan melatih putri cantik ini untuk bertarung dan bersama tujuh kurcaci yang berpihak padanya, kini Snow White siap untuk menggulingkan Ravenna.
